WINTER PICKUP JAMBOREE - FOR PLAYERS NOT INVOLVED IN CIF

We started this last year - a new winter jamboree for those who want to keep up their soccer between Fall and Spring.

We will have pickup style games

Six Saturdays
Dec 6 & 20 (Park closed Dec 13)
Jan 10, 17, 24 & 31 

At Red hill Park from 10 am -12pm

Please register on the website.

No charge for returning players - but you Must register.

($25 if you didn't play in Fall and are not registered for Spring)

The Winter Pick Up Games are an unstructured version of the game where 16/19U AYSO players that are not on their school teams can register with our region then just show up as everyone plays and play the game.

We are also inviting certain referee's from our region to our games so that they can get mentored and get the feel for refereeing older players.

 

AYSO Region 65 Unwritten Rules of Winter Pick Up Soccer:

DO:

- Respect the referee's and fellow players of all skill levels.

- Be friendly, do not take losing so seriously.

-Be open to trying new techniques and learning from others.

-As there is no coaching from the sidelines, communicate with your teammates on the field.

-Resolve disagreements with peace.

DONT:

-Exhibit unsportsmanlike behavior or aggression.

-Overly focus on winning at the expense of others enjoyment.

-Hesitate to seek assistance or offer help to newcomers.

-Hog the soccer ball.

-Allow conflicts to escalate
