Complete forms for the current season (e.g. - Fall 2019 Core)
2. Complete the Safe Haven and CDC Concussion Awareness courses online
Login to AYSOU (using your username/password for this website)
Under "My Courses":
Complete the Safe Haven Course
Complete the CDC Concussion Course
Print your certificates
3. Attend one training course:
To referee 6U and 8U:
Register for and attend the "8U Official" Course (AYSOU under In Person Training)
YOU MUST REGISTER TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR CLASS
OR
To referee 10U and above (and to earn referee points):
a. Complete the Regional Referee Training Course (online - Details below on this web page)
Login to AYSOU (using your username/password for this website)
Under My Courses, select "Regional Referee Training" & Complete the course.
b. Register for and attend the "Regional Referee Online Companion Course" (AYSOU under In Person Training).
YOU MUST REGISTER TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR CLASS
The Online Regional Referee Training course (Step a above) must be completed prior to attending the classroom portion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there an age restriction?
A: Yes, youth referees must be at least 12 years old, and may referee games 2 years below them (e.g. - U10 for a 12 year old)
Q: Do I need to pre-register for a course?
A. Yes! YOU MUST REGISTER TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR CLASS.
Q: What should I bring to the course?
A: Bring your volunteer forms, Safe Haven & Concussion certification and legal ID. Also, you’ll need paper and a pen/pencil for taking notes. We’ll provide you with course materials.
Q: What if I am late arriving to a course?
A: Punctual attendance is critical. Late arriving students may be asked to attend another course
